Are guards worth it this close to the beach? If you have oaks or pines over the roof, yes. On a bare coastal roofline, sometimes a twice-a-year cleaning is the better spend. We'll tell you which house you have.
Do you use coastal fasteners? Yes. Corrosion-resistant hangers and screws are the default on every barrier island job, not an upgrade.
