Salt is the enemy of cheap gutters
A few blocks from the ocean, everything metal gets tested. Steel fasteners rust and streak. Thin coil oxidizes. We hang aluminum with corrosion-resistant hangers and screws because in Cocoa Beach the hardware fails before the gutter does.
If your current gutters show rust stains at every screw head, that's the story. It doesn't get better on its own.
Block homes, flat pitches, canal lots
A lot of Cocoa Beach houses are single-story block with wide, low rooflines, and plenty back up to canals. Low pitch means water sheets slow and heavy off the eave, so the gutter has to sit at the right height to actually catch it. On canal lots we aim downspouts so runoff soaks into the yard instead of washing straight at the seawall.

What survives near the ocean? Aluminum gutter, stainless or coated fasteners, and paint finishes rated for coastal exposure. That combination is what we quote by default this close to the beach.
How often should beachside gutters get looked at? Twice a year is the safe rhythm here. There's less tree canopy than the mainland, but wind-blown palm litter still finds the gutter.
How long does a replacement take? Usually a day. We strip the old runs, check the fascia, and form the new gutter on-site.
